On today's press conference, Yoshiki announced, that the Tokyo Dome concerts will take place on 2nd and 3rd May. 2nd May, as you all know, is hide's 11th death anniversary. Yoshiki also said that they aim for July with the Paris concert and they are in talks for Bird's Nest again and, if successful, will play there in October.

And in his continuing partnership with Rockstar Energy drink, Yoshiki and Rockstar team up with Dome, a Japanese racing car manufacturer, to form a Team Yoshiki.

More info will be posted, as soon as it becomes available!

Paris in July? Well, that would mean 5 month left, wouldn't mind if they decide to start ticketsales this time a little bit earlier ;-)
And thanks for the info btw.

Also, when asked about the 6th member, YOSHIKI said he'll announce it when he announces it.

Reminds me of 'it's done when it's done'.

nice. let's see if Paris will happen this time.
And it's nice to see that they haven't given up on Birds Nest yet.

Wasn't there a mention about 4 Tokyo Dome concerts a while ago? Or do I just remember that incorrect?

There were two Tokyo Dome concerts, and two other concerts that will take place on another venue in Japan.
They were listed as
Tokyo Dome and X Dome, 'X' being an unspecified dome.

EDIT: My mistake, there are four Tokyo Dome dates, of them two now being confirmed.

um...I'd go anyway XD
And actually it'd be really good for them as there are more potential concertgoers in town then... As long as they make it just on the same date but at another location, it's fine with me... XD

Oh god no XDDD

I really hope Yosh is serious now. If the concert will happen in july, that means that it's postponed for a YEAR.

Something during Japan Expo would be a safe bet for them- more chances the concert would be sold out, specially taking into account their previous blunders.

Also you have the first priority in buying tickets provided you are either 'long term' Yoshiki mobile member or have a Violet UK card (what is this?)..not sure if being X Japan street army member is included or not though

I'd say a concert during the expo, not in cooperation with it (= the date would be during the expo days), when a lot of weeaboos are in town would be best for them.

Hurray for leaving North America in the dark once again Yoshiki -_-.... looks like the world tour list that scrolled past everyone's eyes at the countdown has already been switched around. Well in all fairness, the very FIRST overseas announcements had Paris in July and THEN New York after. Ugh I wish he would just say SOMETHING so that we know wtf to do with our time and money.

Thank god, I am not alone thinking that. Never thought it we'd be left out that much, considering that the announce for the NY show (the first one that never happened)  came out first, before the European dates  (or close to..).  We are a bunch of 6 here awaiting more info, driving down from Montreal, Canada to NY to see them.. I can't believe we are the only one interested...

happy to hear dates announcing,
sad to know that i can't attend any.

Possible to go for the Japan & China one but it's during my school term,
impossible to fly to another end of the globe to Paris tho it's during my sch break,
how frustrating!!!

Well it's not that there are just no news about the North America concerts and the other concerts are all confirmed ;-) what do we know more about the other gigs? Just two small infos, that they are aiming for July and October. Of course I understand that it sucks to have no infos about the concerts you are planing to go, but it's not that it's any different for the rest of us.

Yeah, that was bothering me too. I kinda hoped for a concert after summer... plenty of time for ticket sale and saving money.

BXtE.info has published a full report of the event here and a flash picture gallery here.

There isn't much new here though- the racing series is Japanese and Malaysian Super GT, the drivers being Ryo Michigami and Takashi Kogure.

Also, there have been talks with the 36,477 capacity Osaka Dome for X Japan's World Tour in Japan, but apparently they got turned down, though Yoshiki hasn't lost all hope- talks are still ongoing, one possibility being an event like X Japan With Orchestra. The 46,229 capacity Koushien stadium near Kobe is also considered, it resides only a small distance from Osaka.

yep, X with Orchestra would be really cool. And since it was announced for the Saitama Super Arena lives last year, which unfortunately got cancelled, it's time for it to happen now ^_^
