That's right, Yoshiki announced today the release of his own "high fashion" jewelry and interior accessories brand "Yoshiki Jewelry". He also announced a new solo song, a classical piece.

GREAT news!

I'm starting to think that X Japan will use this new piece at the beginning of their concerts from now on, but it's just my supposition of course :)

If I had that kind of excess money to spend on such trivialities I certainly would much sooner donate it to Oxfam than I would purchase those items.

Great to hear about the new solo classical song, though, Amethyst remains one of my favourite pieces of music.

Actually, I have been thinking something like that too.  ;)

Note, I'm only referring to the necklace they mentioned here, but... the price is actually reasonable.  Green and red diamonds are considered somewhat rare, and just buying loose ones ones, without all the time and artistry that goes into setting them, is expensive.  I did a quick google search and found loose cut stones going for $100-$1500 each, depending on cut and size.  Since I haven't seen any pictures, I can't say more except that Yoshiki is known for having a taste for expensive things, so it makes sense he'd attach his name to expensive things, ya know?

Was actually thinking cool Yoshiki Branded Jewellery. Then saw the price (maybe just a little out of my price range).

And I'm curious how his new song will be like...
