I just noticed that Bizkitroach's profile doesn't list him as an admin, nor even as a mod.  His "position" says only "Big Fan".  Am I looking in the wrong place, or has he been de-adminned?  And if so, did I miss the announcement about that?

Thanks in advance to whoever can clear this up for me.

As it seems - yes. His stars aren't red.
Admin stars are red, mod stars green, user stars yellow (as long as I got that right).

mod mode

And out of the chaos I heard a voice telling me:
"Smile and be happy - it could have become worse!"
So I smiled and was happy... and it became worse

I think Hypno un-mod and un-admined the "inactive" members when he added the new mods. But wait for his confirmation (he'll be back on monday).

@Cami, you forgot BXtE who are blue !

Thanks Camicat.

I would have thought that if there's time to remove an admin-- which is a big deal-- there'd also be time to announce it.  From the sounds of you both, I assume the mods weren't even informed about this.

Well, business as usual, I guess.  I'll never understand the persistant lack of transparency around here.

Well, when Hypno asked for new moderators, he also asked the "old" ones to send him a PM if they wanted to keep their job. So I think we can't really blame him...

He was de-adminned before that if I'm not wrong.

I think (just think) that Lee gave up the position because he's so busy IRL now and that's why ferret became an admin, no?  :)

I thought he was still an admin at the point when ferret also became an admin?

Well, now I'm curious.  But if (as Millie says) he was actually de-adminned some time ago, and there's been no announcement this whole time, that pretty much makes it even worse. :P

I thought he was de-admined some days ago? Or at least that's when I noticed it because I saw him online with regular user colour. My guess is that he, like some mods, were made normal users again because they weren't active (enough).

Lee hasn't been active as an admin for quite a long time. I did PM him and he said that he probably doesn't have enough time IRL to be an active admin so he wouldn't mind if I de-adminned him. I didn't de-admin him then, as I thought that he might change his mind, but yeah, a few weeks ago or so I did de-admin him. I didn't think an announcement was necessary as he wasn't an active admin anyway. His opinions on any topics aren't treated differently by me at least, no matter if he's an admin or not.

This is my administrator color.

er yeah, there wasnt an announcement but there didnt need to be, i've been too busy in RL to admin this message board aswell and I told Hypno that. If he wanted to de-admin me that would be fine. As you can see, I havent been here in over a month so its pointless leaving me as an admin :)
