And out of the chaos I heard a voice telling me:
"Smile and be happy - it could have become worse!"
So I smiled and was happy... and it became worse

Oooh, finally, a GnR topic.  My favorite song of theirs is definitely Rocket Queen.  My AIM screen name is even named after that, haha.

Oh, and I definitely like the old band better...all this new stuff ain't cuttin' the mustard for me.  What was with that one guy, Bucket Head?  Is he still there?  I did NOT like him at all.

I LOVE YOSHIKI :D

Yes he did, was in the band from 2000 till 2004, and while his outfit and behaviour was anything but usual, his guitarskills are awesome *g*

Well, for me old and new Guns N'Roses are two differenents band who just have the same name. I like both, even though it's still very "soon" to have a real opinion on the new one I think.

Ah, my poor brother. He saw Guns N' Roses a few years ago but didn't realise the only members left were from when he was still closely following the band were Axl and Dizzy Reed, so needless to say when he saw Tommy Stinson (speaking of Tommy, awesome to see a 'Mats song on the list too!), Ron Thal, Robin Finck and Richard Fortus running around on stage with Axl he was a little confused. Still enjoyed the show though.

As for the new song, yay. Most of the Chinese Democracy songs I've heard so far have been good, and if the band's willing to let this be the first song people will officially hear from them since '99 I have faith this'll be a good one too.

Just thought it was interesting... there has been a poll on my GNR forum for like a month now, asking member when they think the new album will be released.

Here are the results :

For the olympic games ( 8.8.8 ) : 6 (9.2%)
After the summer : 4 (6.2%)
Christmas  : 9 (13.8%)
When chickens have guitars : 36 (55.4%)
Never : 10 (15.4%)

Almost all hopes are gone ! LOL ;D ;D ;D

I'm pretty sure the album is finished and has been for a while, it's in the hands of the record company, Geffen, as to when/how it is released. There is something like $15 million tied up in this album - so making a profit is almost impossible, they just want to get back as much money as they can so careful plotting is underway within the big-wig record company officials.

Well, they have more than 100 songs recorded, so I guess they still can make some profit, but well, things have to be well done.

Baz (ex-Skid Row) said GNR has already enough to make 3 albums... but well, one would be already good in my opinion ;D

Oh, shit I was watching buckethead - nightrain solo (boston 2002 soundboard) this and had spider big techno remix on the background going silently but loud enough to make everything sound like bizarre mix. Huh, that's what you get when you wake up early haha.

Trent Reznor from Nine Inch Nails told RollingStones that he hid tickets for their next concerts in some places in LA.

He said he put some in Axl Rose's garden ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D He wanna see how many people get catch by the cop while digging in his garden lol !

Well, we'll see if that guy is a big liar or not... :P

I'm not sure if I want new leaks or not... I know that Shackler's Revenge will leak at least 1-2 weeks before Rock Band 2 is released. If it was possible to buy it as a single or at least on iTunes, I'd wait... but here I see no point. I won't buy Rock Band 2 as I have no X Box 360 and no PS3 and no money ;D

Haha... a new song leaked today ! I knew it ;D

Still haven't got it and not sure if I want it... seems it called "Chicken Dinner" LOL ;D Hope this is wrong...

An artwork goes with it :

But still, nothing official...

I listened to it, it's so NOT GNR if you are into the 80's GNR ;D Sounds very industrial, more like NIN, but the song is AMAZING in my opinion !

The beginning sounds weird, but then it's just great !!!

I like the song, but you're right it's a slap in the face for everyone who expected something like on AfD or UYI, but on the other hand the musical direction looks clear if you've heard the other leaks.

Chicken Dinner was only the name they used to "hide" the real mp3... so it's not the name of the song.

It might be Shackler's Revenge, but nothing sure.

And yeah, when you listen to this song and then to Velvet Revolver, you totally understand why Axl and Slash don't work together anymore.
