He's really good for his age.
Yoshiki is not the best drummer in the world, not even close and technically his drumming is not very challenging to copy. In terms of stamina, however, Yoshiki's drumming can be very demanding of a drummer so for this kid to be able to mimick some of the faster songs so well shows a real dedication has gone into getting to his current level of ability.
I dislike it when people comment his videos saying stuff like "Get a Yoshiki signature drum set!" or "you need to have a double bass drum to play this correctly". If anything, the fact that the kid can keep up with the music and improvise on a smaller kit shows his skill. It is not a valid point of criticism to hold these things against him - having a bigger kit or a Yoshiki custom set would be for "show" purposes only, the songs simply do not demand such an extravogant or large kit - it's merely a preferance of Yoshiki himself.
Besides, one of the things that real drummers often criticise Yoshiki for is using a double bass drum, many purist players believe that they are simply not needed and a really skilled drummer can make adequate use of a single bass drum making a second redundant and a "easy way out". :p
