Pan, can you PLEASE stop re-starting old arguments?

Why? I didn't noticed before and I wanted to comment because I, myself, noticed his thread gone missing and stated it. Now it happens that I can't? then make a rule about it

Well, personally, "old" implies that the issue was resolved... and it wasn't.  The previous post on the subject was me asking a question: 'could you point out the X Freaks rule that says "no posting of news before it's officially released"?' -- and naturally, not receiving an answer.

I'm still patiently awaiting the answer to that question, by the way. :P

I admit, the forum isn't that well built and it might be hard to find info about some stuff sometimes, but from the Rules of the News subforum:

Quote
Also, if the Newspost contains only a rumour (that means not confirmed by Yoshiki, JRR, or any other reliable source (newspapers don't count really)) then mention it in the Subject and post itself. If it has confirmed data AND rumours, seperate the rumours from the confirmed stuff and put a bold red "RUMOUR:" infront of it :) The rumour- only posts might go into a whole different subforum in the future- we'll see...

I'm sorry if it's a bit too unclear or anything, but I'm usually too lazy to fix stuff like that :P

I thought... now really, correct me if I'm wrong but there was a post by darkcat in this thread pointing out that he actually gave a link to the official website. But where is that post?  :?

Thanks Hypno!  And I totally agree that rumors should be clearly marked and not posted as fact-- but yeah, as Anna said, I also remember darkcat's original post (the one that began the thread which was deleted) having a link to an official source.  To me this isn't a case of rumor being presented as fact, but of a perfectly legit thread being entirely deleted.

And really, even if this WAS a "rumor being presented as fact" situation: why delete the whole thread-- which had several posts on it already-- and then open an identical thread?  Why not just edit the thread's title and the first post to mark it as a rumor, if that's the case?

Hollywood, as I missed the original thread, I can't say for sure, but as I understood it had a newspaper article as a source?

I don't think it was a newspaper article... but really, I cannot say for sure. That's why it would be nice to know where did that post by darkcat go.
Darkcat, have you deleted/edited it yourself or has it... disappeared?

This is all well and good but they should SERIOUSLY say at least something about the bloody Paris show, it's supposed to be like 6 weeks before the live and they have barely said anything, ugh I'm a worrier!

From what i can gather from the newest post on the Taiwan site is that they are asking people to submit X Japan sites to them and they will pick the best 10 and give them an oppotunity to meet X? Can someone verify this? as I can't read traditional chinese  :(
