...Because I'm trying to think of more DTR stuff to talk about, OK? :P

Don't know if D.T.R really HAS ever covered any songs... at least, there aren't any covers on the albums, unless you count Voiceless.

So, if you could choose, which songs would you want to hear them cover?
The one that comes immediately to mind for me is:

Bon Jovi - Wanted Dead or Alive

Especially if they were to do it acoustic.

"Wanted Dead Or Alive" rocks, but I'd rather listen to D.T.R covering "Blaze Of Glory", from Jon Bon Jovi's solo career... If they ever covered both that'd be even better...

There's also "Desperate Angel"... I'd love to hear a D.T.R version of it...

Well, since I would have said Wanted - Dead Or Alive as well, I take another one:
Guns'n'Roses - Back Off Bitch

And out of the chaos I heard a voice telling me:
"Smile and be happy - it could have become worse!"
So I smiled and was happy... and it became worse

Yeah, that's matching! :D

Hm...
Smoke On The Water - Deep Purple ...?

Not so good, huh?
I was thinking of a song from Aerosmith, but can't really decide between Livin' On The Edge, Get A Grip and Eat The Rich. Damn! I think the whole Get A Grip album would somehow match.

Of those three-- Eat the Rich!  Since the theme is kinda similar to Dirty Winner.  But yeah, that whole album would suit them really well... so would a lot of other Aerosmith songs in fact.

Same Old Song and Dance?  Sweet Emotion?  Back in the Saddle?  And for some reason I can also imagine Falling in Love (Is Hard on the Knees), though that's pretty random.

And how about...

Poison - Every Rose Has Its Thorn
:P

(Funny you mentioned Smoke on the Water.  I had actually thought of that myself at one point.)

Heh, yeah, they may as well cover the song-- now that they've covered the cover. :P  And on their Acoustic album, no less.

Ace of Spades ~ Acoustic?  Might be interesting...

Now there's something I'd really want to listen to...

But talking about acoustic and Motörhead they could cover "Whorehouse Blues" which is as far as I know the only Motörhead acoustic track (and a fucking amazing one!)...

God Was Never On Your Side is also acoustic.
That would make a cool cover too ^^

Well, the X one is somewhat popular, so I felt like reviving this. :P

The Black Crowes!  Either "Remedy" or "Hard to Handle".  The second one has a lot for Kenji to do too...

And everyone covers it, so often that I forget who the original artist even was, but: "Drift Away".  You know, "gimme the beat, boys, and save my soul", etc. etc.  Cliche but perfect.

And Eagles covers are a must.  "Peaceful Easy Feeling" or "Take It to the Limit", maybe?  "Already Gone"?  "Witchy Woman" might be cool...

Ah!  Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Fortunate Son"?

How about D.T.R making an homage to Yoshiki?
Aerosmith - Dude Looks Like A Lady! :D :D :D

EDITED TO ADD:
And now G'nR's Rocket Queen comes to my mind as well! :D

Ha, good ones!  Actually I think Dude Looks Like a Lady is even better than Rocket Queen in this case, since Rocket Queen's lyrics would sort of imply whoever sings it is hot for Yoshiki...

 Oh... okay. Of course we all know, that Mitsuo isn't hot for Yoshiki. He's hot for Eizo!

Still talking about Creedence Clearwater Revival, I'd love to see a D.T.R-ish version of "Tombstone Shadow"...  8)
