I was looking around Dramawiki when i found out that one of the up-coming drama by Maki Horikita is using a song by X Japan or Yoshiki. Which song is it?

I didn't like Yoshiki's involvement in Catacombs or Saw IV(even though I like I.V. a lot),but I have to say that this time is different.
It seems like something more deep than the other movies he had to compose songs for.

I'm really looking forward to this new song

yeah of course. he is training for the upcoming concerts in tokyo dome, recording Without You, making the english lyric version of it, recording the music for this jap drama, recording VUK. i don't even think he has time for VUK recording at least til the concert done. :S

Yeah Repo seems quite cool too and considering that Yoshiki is the executive producer for the Original soundtrack I think(and hope) it will be worth the wait.

The team behind this movie is partially the same one behind Saw IV,which I don't like at all,but this seems more like an indie movie and also a pretty intriguing one in my opinion.

Ok sorry for the giant OT,I'll stop it right here 8)

Anyway, the main theme for this Japanese movie is the painful love of two couples during the WWII, I think this is a perfect theme for a Yoshiki song.

Are you sure about that? Not that I don't believe you of course,it's just that by reading Yoshiki's latest blog it seemed like it was a new song.

Well, anyway,I guess "Unnamed Song" would fit the mood of this movie quite well after all :)

Ok,as darkcat21 said before Unnamed Song is in fact the main theme of this movie.

Here's the link to a small video that confirms this news:

Hopefully it's not the same old version.

Saw the youtube clip already. Seems that Unnamed song that's used is the original VUK's one *daughter's voice*
Yet, according to this news : http://www.tokyograph.com/news/id-2734
it's Masafumi Akikawa (male) as the singer with tenor opera voice.
So, if the news is true, then Yoshiki put 2 of his songs for the drama.
