Huh, that's really interesting.  Thanks for posting... other than occasional lurking I don't use the JRR forums (I don't like official forums), so it's great to be alerted when something important comes up there.

They make it sound like a big international ticket sale, but it's a lottery...

Do they have 10 tickets or what? Pathetic.

Anyway, I've decided to go.

Yeah, it's a lottery and like you said, I also suspect it's only a small number of tickets-- but still, if a lot of people sign up for the lottery, it would be a good show of interest from overseas fans and might make X more inclined to tour outside of Japan (or convince them to release more tickets to overseas fans next time, if there's a next time).

Good luck by the way!

@pping, yeah, I think you need a JRR account to sign up.  Never tried to sign up myself so I can't help you there...

I think I'll sign up, even though I probably won't be able to go... At least if I win I'll get some extra money by selling it on to someone and I'll make someone happy...

Tokyo Dome has always delivered the tickets with something you have to exchange later the days before the concert, what means that what you want to do won't work :/ I was thinking in that too actually

hi there

Ok I read through it all... I applied for 4 tickets and if I get them, I'll do anything in my power to go to Japan :D And if I get the 4 tickets I'll need 3 more people (and I imagine some people from this forum applied for more than they need also) so let us know if you'd be in for a ticket (you'll have to be able to transfer the money max 24 hours after the nems of the winners have been released)!

I just found out that my Japanese tutor's friend from Japan won't be able to help me get tickets after all, since by the time the people holding auctions receive their tickets, she won't be in Japan. ;_;

Therefore I HAVE to win that lottery! O_O
