I know, I know. It's too early. But from what I have heard so far, I really adore this song. :D
And I wanted to ask... has anybody managed to (at least partly) make out the lyrics? I think it would be interesting to try and gather it, so that we could compare it when we know the real thing.
All I can make out are really just short bits like "my love" and "standing here beside me" (yeah, I haven't really been trying much so far)  :P

The chorus is "I’m calling you, dear/ Can’t you see me standing right here/ Life is bleeding from fear/ I’ll give it straight from my vein" according to JRR, and knowing Yoshiki, the backing vocals could be something like "in the rain", "feel the rain", "wipe my vein" etc. ;P

And we know that Heath sings the backing vocals (at least he did it at the shooting).

First line is:

"Needles are piercing through my skin"

Yoshiki seems to like skin-things :)

Haha, typically Yoshiki, there HAD to be blood in that song.
It sounds ok, imo, not "OMG SO AMAZING BEST THING EVAH!!!1", but ok.

Oooh, I tried to make out the lyrics for those 1.30 minutes in the first previews. Well, it's hard since those moderators talk the whole time xD
And...I really better don't share what I got so far... The chorus was almost completly wrong! xD;;
Oh well, I better just wait for the offical thing before I have thw wrong words burned into my brain :P
One sentence shortly before the chorsus starts again sounds like "will I be without you in my headß" x_x sounds like somthing he'd write e_e probalby wrong though XD
Toshi's Engrish+bad sound quality+words I don't know =

Oh, and I like that song alot! :) It's stuck in my head since the first preview showed up x_x *completly addicted*

...When the morning begins
I'll be in the next chapter...

I know there's a lot of errors, and there are still a lot of words (and complete lines) that I can't understand AT ALL, but here's the best I have at the moment.

If you all figure more out or catch my errors, feel free to correct! I'm excited to compare to the real lyrics. :D

Still cursing audio quality and Toshi-Engrish. XD

Needles are piercing through my skin
I sit and dream it, what it’s like
Is there just hope of addiction
Is it okay to […] change my end

To take the place of my right for freedom

CHORUS:
in the rain
I’m calling you, dear
find the way
Can’t you see me standing right here
feel my pain
Life’s bleeding from fear
find its place
I will give it straight from my vein

(whispers)

There are […] I can’t [deny,divide?]

Just let me drown you with this [sweet?] addiction
Then let me wash you with my [hand?heck?lol], my love
[The madness?I feel this?] has gone before
to find a piece of my true self
lost within

CHORUS

I’m ripping my vein
To figure out this pain
You know what leads to me
And the wall of blood and [embers?] of light
Can’t change my shadowed [pain?]
 Forever fades away

CHORUS x2

Lady, lady are you ready to go?
Why do you have to be laying down?

Well yeah. But I still think his English pronounciation is quite good this time. Used to be much worse sometimes.  :P

I wasn`t able to make out more than the chous either.
mostly due to the reasons mentioned earlier.

the preview on JRR, however, is the perfect length for a ringtone.
i currently have it set as mine. 8)

Is there actually anyone besides me who thinks Yoshiki's lyrics are boringly repetitive?  :?

He has some really good stuff, but mostly it is as repetitive as is his drum playing. That's why I like his japanese lyrics better, I can concentrate totally in the music, and not have to worry about the rains, broken bloody hearts dyed in red etc.

I like rains and broken bloody hearts dyed in red. XD So I don't mind. But I see your point, it is rather repetitive... I think I have fangirl syndrome: if it was any other artist I'd probably be annoyed. Oh well, it is what it is, and if that makes me a fangirl, so be it!

Great work, Mitsuko!

And yeah, repetitive it probably is, but I like it. Somehow I haven't expected anything else. :)

In fact, sometimes he realized it (I think) and then his eyes would dart left and right in a very nervous fashion. It used to be quite lovely.  :D

Let's not forget love, and dreams...but I totally agree, the more Japanese, the less same English words over and over again, the better. *he should let Toshi write English lyrics for X if he wants them so much in the songs, because Toshi is actually good with lyrics :P *

The song sounds pretty good after hearing it a few times, though i'm also wondering what i'd think of it if i wasn't in the "OMG X IS BACK!" mood. The piano at the end sounds f***ing gorgeous.

Yeah, I also think it was more about violent songs. Though this one is not exactly a piece of fluff, in my opinion.
Well, I won't complain, though. I'm pretty happy about the song.   :D

Maybe that was just a spare-of-the-moment thing he said.. I've often said "I wont do *insert random crap here* anymore" and I do.. everyone does it. Once he's back on stage with the rest of the band he probably wont care :D

Probably that it's the soundtrack-song of SAW IV ;)

Well, given the lyrics of "needles are piercing through my skin," "I'll give it straight from my vein" etc. I think it could literally mean I.V. - Intravenous.

It could have multiple meanings, though, and have to do with the four remaining members of X, or even with Saw IV. :)
