Rumor question

Is there anyone here who can confirm the ridiculous rumor which states that hide was a transgender? O_o I've heard so many people say this about him, yet none of them ever have any proof. X_x

If it is true, then fine. o.o But I have serious doubts about this.

I'm pretty sure its just a rumour. When I first found out hide was a dude, I didnt believe it. I was convinced he was a woman. Then I realised I was just being silly and he's a very feminine looking man

I saw a special on tv and they visited Nong Toom. She kicked some guys butt haha.

I just read in a magazine here that a fighter from my country think shes weird because she changed gender, but she didnt change opponents, and she still fights guys and shes like a circus attraction.

His clothing I think... Imo it seems pretty obvious. I mean take hide's clothing habits and a stupid-doesn't-know-anything-first-time-to-see-a-Japanese-band western average Joe...

But in my opinion it's not true. hide was pretty, delicate, skinny, wore make-up, bright clothes and stuff that a lot of women would wear.
And plus, the fact that he would never undress (show bare arms, legs, chest...) in public might lead some people to question his gender.
But I don't think that would make him a transgender.

Anyway, if Yoshiki had never cut his hair and if he wasn't constantly nude in photoshoots I'd also say he could be a woman.

i have some pics of hide with his jacket open without a skirt or wearing a tank top. in zilch's "electric cucumber" that was the first and last time we saw him topless.

hide was a very insecure person, i guess. i highly doubt he was trans gender.

The whole transgender rumour gets blown out of proportion based on one little interview where hide stated that he would find it interesting to have sex as a woman. He never said that he was transgender, no one associated to hide ever said or insinuated that he was and as far as I see it that pretty much draws a line under it.

Hide being the person he was means that in this day and age he is open to lots of interperitation, it's mainly bisexual/homosexual fans who tend to believe that he is transgender based on things which they see in him which they find in themselves. It's an interesting idea, but it's nothing more than a rumour - and to me, is a little bit of a long shot.

IMO hide looks too womanly to be a man, but too manly to be a woman. Weird, I know...but...oh well.
