And, how about WOWOW broadcast torrents of X Japan Returns and Hide Memorial Summit there? aren't they copyrighted? don't they officially belong to WOWOW and considered as new released stuff?

Welcome to the downloads subforum. This is a place created for all X Japan fans to share their rare X stuff. Yup, RARE. Things that are on sale in well-reachable places like amazon.com, for example the Blue Blood and Jealousy re-releases (and originals), The Last Live DVD rips and so on are not allowed here.

Our rules say nothing about new stuff. And hardly anyone here could see the live streamings --->=/= well-reachable.

I know that, I think i need to make my post clearer.
What I want to show is.... about Yoshiki Mobile that isn't well-reachable, yet the topics/threads are always deleted straight instead of moving it to shared subforum. *although the one PN posted apparently just deleted after stayed for quite sometime*.
And the WOWOW torrents are examples to show that actually new copyrighted materials are allowed to be shared here as long as it's not well-reachable.
Which support the questionable 'why Yoshiki Mobile isn't allowed'.
Yoshiki Mobile = new released & acts sometimes like news & unreachable.

And it's written on my Blue Blood CD that "Unauthorized duplication is a violation of applicable laws".  Yet there are unauthorized mp3s exchanged in the sharing forums (don't know if Blue Blood is there or not, just using an example).

You answered yourself. If you don't know about it, then don't say it. Straight from the rules of the Sharing Forum, the first two lines (at least check those rules if you post about it):

In case anyone will start to complain that old things get reposted as arguments, I'll become seriously angry about this... It's even from this year, after the reunion.
Really... I think, it's ridiculous. I gotta agree on the double-standard thing at the latest now! I'd seriously appreciate a more objective way of acting from an admin.

Note: I am telling this as a user, not as a mod. This is my own opinion on this and (quite obviously) doesn't represent the whole staff.

And guess ... the thread was deleted. A very slow action to delete, it seems, if it's about following the 'rules', or deletion to cover proof?

In essence they are, but that's not the point. It is written in the Terms of Agreement of Yoshiki Mobile, that you are not allowed to pass on the info you get from there, it's meant for people who pay for it to get info earlier than others, that's what they pay for.

And it's not in the rules? GODDAMN, say again we don't need to clear up the rules. We have had this issue at least two times already...

Very good point Hollywood. Indeed double standard happens here. Apparently the rules aren't rules anymore, but rules that bend slightly to fit the 'admin/mods/somebody elses' needs.
And to add another point, Yoshiki Mobile only happens in Japan due to the network system, which means ppl who are outside it, won't ever have the chance to get some updated messages from Yoshiki which intended to all fans not only fans who live in Japan, if the rules of Yoshiki Mobile can't be shared, implemented here.
I would LOVE to subscribe should the service available internationally.

Suggestion: To be fair, posts of Yoshiki Mobile are allowed in shared sub forum, just as we share the downloaded mp3 or videos of other copyrighted X Japan's work.
No? then... double standards happen again.. lulz.

All of the interviews are from youtube. Go to youtube and enjoy them yourself. And it's simple to find X Japan's interview in case you don't know. Type 'X Japan or Yoshiki, etc' as keyword, there you'll get long lists.

True, the double posts start getting confusing. Please delete one of them or merge.
EDIT: just finding out that these cant be merged .. how it seems. However, isn't it weird the first (older) post got locked while the second one continues? I'm a mod too once, and if these things happen, normally the second one is locked or reposted by quoting them to the older/ first thread.

I really like hide as Chucky from Child Play.
He seriously looks the scariest there.. remind me of Joker too.
His eyes and expression.... really into it. Good cosplaying indeed.

Chucky was my childhood nightmare, I regret rebelling my parents, insisted on watching it when I was so little. @.@
I think back then, the movie was called Good Guys, no?

@ the very first post, I don't find that pic is awful, scary or upsetting.
It's beautiful (agree with Panthere) as piece of art. well for the intention of guillotined head photo, Kozi Malice Mizer did it better.
On hide one, I still see (through) his shoulder and hair.

@Tordek, Say Anything in your myspace sounds good. But there's funny notes during the guitar solo, was that intentionally?
And, just a 5 cent opinion, I think at the parts towards the end, the piano & guitar aren't clear enough, the sounds are covered too much by the bass & drums.
I haven't listened to Without You, the download is interrupted. 1 hour for 2.4mb.. woot. Will do later.

kay, listened to it already.
Normally, with song cover, especially from artists I like alot, will bring a prejudice or pre-cynical judgement.
However, you and Maya did well. I like your work.
Maya's voice is cute somehow and has the emotions.
And tordek, i heard some slipped notes in the piano play xD.
But hey, overall, it's good job guys =)

Oh and something else that's worrying me: who's going to be handling the ticketing? As much as I loathe TicketBastard, if it's between them and JRR I will be hoping it's TicketBastard if only that I do NOT want my credit card/bank account info in Kuri's hands.

Man, that's such a good point-- I hadn't even thought of that possibility.  I'm no TicketMaster fan either, but if (so many ifs...) X were to schedule a date in LA, and the only way to get tickets were directly through Einsof/JRR?  I'd seriously have a long think about just how badly I want to go to that concert.

If X Japan were to schedule a date in LA, im 99% positive it's gonnabe Einsoff who handles the ticketing. xD
But, really, mind pming me about these hatreds towards JRR? as a precaution *omg im a newbie...glomps*

I always thought he should at least tell his assistants to pronounce his name, but he simply doesn't do that either.
It's such a pain to the ears... maybe he does intent it though, because it sounds more american? lol I have no idea...

Yeah i noticed the assistantS, i mean the American assistantS and the groupies that sometimes appeared on youtube. Not forget to mention his singers/ artists always pronounce his name YoSheeKee.
They should at least know how the Japanese call his name. I'm sure lots of Japanese staff and assistants are around him too in LA.
I think they are just being ignorant or purposely to distinguish this is american way of pronouncing Yoshiki, & don't give a crap to learn how to say it correctly.
Many ppl work with him still call him this way, it indeed seems that Yo doesn't care about this. Just a trivial thing xD.

But true though, if they care about him, at least show it from the very small trivial thing such as this.
It's such an annoyance actually seeing on how many ppl admit they love X Japan and care about Yoshiki & others but can't even do simple thing correctly. meh...

Anyway, why did we talk about this at the end? o.O

The ranks shouldn't be for the best list but the top ten most favourited, cuz, what's best anyway? what criteria/ requirements to be complied? who the judges? at the end, it's just looked by subjective perspectives.

I second what Hollywood said, Yoshiki is my most favourite drummer. I know he isn't the best in the world, but he is the best I like the most.

Bout the top ten list website, I don't really give a damn, it's totally superficial in the meaning of.. totally depends on how many fans they have and whether the fans go online alot, come across to that web & spend their 3mins time or so to be wasted there.

And I don't like ppl complaining about X re-releasing stuff all the time... If you don't like it, don't buy it

Exactly! Nothing wrong for the management company/ producer or the artist to release more and more compilations. If don't like it don't buy.

What I dislike about X:
-Yoshiki ignoring the past aligns of the band, Taiji, Jun, Hikaru, etc., when releasing compilations (except for Rose & Blood). If someone gave him numbers about how much he could earn releasing that shit, I think he'll do it to fill (MORE) his pockets.

I see nothing wrong in this too. If the recompilations process is all by Yoshiki or his management, then it's what it should be, the money goes to him/ his management. And to re-release some more compilations of old songs is not THAT easy. Especially to ask the old friends to contribute again, as each of them has their own super busy schedule. Plus not to forget some more details such as administration, transportations (from LA-Tokyo whatever) and time. At the end of the day, the expenses are just way too much. If Yoshiki has the copyright of the song, then he's basically free to do whatever he wants.

And, I'm getting disliking this thread as it gets more negative.
