"May"? (0 ~ 0) Crap, I'll still be in school then. . . **Sigh** I hope they go to Europe & South America first and come back to the U.S. late summer or fall when Anime Expo is over with & I have no school.
your school must keep you in really late. My semester ends right before mid-may. D:

I've been trying to get Grace... but woah, that's overpriced...  I only paid about 11 dollars average on pretty much all of the old school Toshi merch I have *_*
Except maybe one photobook, but... meh. IT WAS WORTH IT. :3
I only have made in HEAVEN so far for CDs. It was about.. 8 dollars. About the same for the VHS since it's not very much in demand... I had to leave them at home just in case, I knew people who had their things damaged at school and insurance didn't cover it, and to me, these things are irreplaceable. ♥

AHH. And he had me all worried last night that it might be tour dates. XP Well, at least I might actually have MONEY by the time the dates are released.

Hopefully NYC is one of the places. ♥ I want to make it a point of going to the city at least once a year anyway, and what better way to spend a day in New York than an X Japan concert. :D

I saw that too, and used Rikaichan to try and translate it piece by piece. It's good to hear.

Technology can be so awesome, at least it's not a pain to do so. That bot was ridiculous. D: I've never seen such awful spam...
Thanks for explaining that though, I hope he gets done with exams soon. They're on a rampage lately.

I'm spamming by posting after myself, but after trying to wade through three pages of spam by one user, I just want to know if anything is going to be done about the bots? Dx I can't imagine how the mods feeling having to clean this up, even I'm frustrated by seeing it...

+1 on the suggestion for a screening process. I hate seeing adbots all over the place. D:

Albums/Singles / Re: which x song makes you cry?

Endless Rain. Ever since seeing them live, I can't NOT cry. I was bawwing like such a baby when I saw them XD; but singing along with Toshi was the best memory for me.

An interesting cover that Toshi did was piece of Hotel California on a radio program in 1992. Wish there was video of that.

I would love to hear that !!!
Do you have it that cover (the sound) from the radio program?

I REALLY want to write something, but I'm still in total disbelief.

Even though I had to leave the pit eventually I still had a lot of fun. But I'm still like "... I saw X Japan? ... o.o THAT WAS REAL WHAT?"

I had a lot of fun in line, too. If I could do that once every month, I WOULD. :D haha. I took pictures with cosplayers, I helped bring around the sign for the band that CharonCaori made at one point during Sunday afternoon, and met a handful of people.

And then I had a midterm the next day. I passed XP but returning to normal life made this feel even more like a dream than a reality. :c

Next time I want to be more social in line and make more friends. ;D This has to be the best concert I've attended.
Thanks again for helping pass around that sign. I got so lazy by the time more and more people started showing up... haha. I'm glad you passed your midterm! I went to the doctor today, I got all sorts of medicine. Hopefully my voice comes back soon, heh.
No problem, we both had a lot of fun doing that. :] I'd do it again if I had the chance. A few of us should make signs next time so that there can be more room for sigs. XDD

I really hope you're feeling better now *_*!!

X JAPAN World Tour / Re: X-Japan World Tour North American Leg Round-up
« on: October 16, 2010, 03:24:56 AM »
Aw, comparing Toshi to Freddie Mercury. I honestly always thought of those two in the same regard as great vocalists with amazing vocal talent. And I'm just a huge Queen fan. The only reason I'm even in this fandom right now is because of Queen. :]

I agree with what pretty much everyone said, really; also, it's good to know that NYC sold out. The East Coast from what I know doesn't get many shows over here, and because of that I was hoping it would be a success so that X would come back to NYC, too-- as much as I love them, I'll never be able to afford flying across the country :( but a 30 dollar two way trip is entirely worth it to see them. And with the amount of people who had taken even LONGER trips to attend the NYC show, it seems like stopping there was worth it for them in the longrun... :B

A tour like that seemed to be worth it-- more of them will probably gather more of an audience. A lot of people in NYC seemed pretty interested in what we were all waiting for... maybe they'll get curious. XD

I hope they come back soon. If I can see them within a year, I'd be ecstatic. XD

Basically what everyone else said. LOL.

The pushing was awful and my friends had gone during the first song, so I left during Drain to find friends, and get to the balcony after getting some merch and water. :B And then I cried through the rest of the show because (I'mma crybabyyyyyy lol) it was the most amazing thing to see Toshi so close-- about 4th/5th row! I think I ended up beating people up unintentionally when I was just going along with all the crowdwaves, so if I did to anyone here, sorry. xAx;; I came out of there unscathed though, shockingly enough.

I'd do it again in a heartbeat. /shot

:B another pinkhead! YAY! xD

... wow.
not gonna lie, that's.. kind of sad.
I know it's X Japan, but .. come on, it's X Japan. Not OLD!X. LMAO.
I think if it were old!X I'd line up a week beforehand, but ... not this time around. XD
