News / Re: X Japan's concerts on 2009 revealed!!

MillieQOF, I said I heard about people throwin' bottles onto the stage = rumour, because I surely wasn't there. : D

Yeah, all those concerts sold out quickly in Finland too, although three of those bands had two gigs in Finland. I was attending Miyavi and Dir en grey and will be attending LM.C, btw. : D

I wouldn't count on any VV songs... they don't usually play those

That's why this is your ideal setlist, not the possible one ;-)

But but but... *panic voice* :D

I can't understand why you are saying "X Japan wasn't visual kei"? X Japan definately was visual kei, I was VERY VERY surprised when I saw people discussing about that :O X Japan was a pioneer of visual kei during 80's and during 90's followed by LUNA SEA and L'arc~en~ciel. Almost everyone here has said they had very colourful and visual outfits during 80's and for a moment during 90's, and very visual outfits is only "point" in visual kei, so how can anyone say "X Japan wasn't visual kei?" I'm very confused.

General chat / Your ideal setlist for X's World tour
« on: January 04, 2009, 11:29:40 AM »
I didn't seem to find such a topic, so I made it myself.

I think everyone has noticed X's having a world tour this year, and everyone has probably their fav songs by X. What kind of would your OWN setlist be, if you had all the power to decide the setlist? Would you leave all the solos off and play only Art of life and songs from Dahli? Would your setlist be just one huge piano solo?

Here's one example for you guys before starting to make your own ideal setlists!

1. Drain
2. Miscast
3. Jealousy
4. Crucify my love
5. Desperate angel
6. Guitar solo
7. X
8. Orgasm
9. Joker
10. Rusty nail
11. Yoshiki's drumm solo
12. Art of life ;-)

ENCORE I
13. Stab me in the back
14. IV

ENCORE II
15. Kurenai
16. Endless rain

In Finland there is way more j-rock fans than in Sweden : ) I think that bands wouldn't come to Finland so often if in Sweden there were more fans. And in Finland has been... 20-30 bands? I don't excatly even know : D : D (btw I was very surprised when I noticed that Hypno comes from Estonia : D )

[off]And I heard Swedish fans were throwin' bottles onto the stage when Dir en grey was performing, so if you would be a manager of a band would you take your band to Sweden or Finland after hearing that, and when the fact is that more people listen to j-rock in Finland? And hey, you have easier to survive in Finland 'cause people here understand what you're saying. ; D
And that An Café, which you said is very popular in Sweden, has two gigs in Finland and one in Sweden. That popular Dir en grey had two gigs in Finland and in Sweden one. I don't mean to say you're absolutely wrong, but I wanted to just reming you of some facts.[/off]

I chose Yoshiki, becausae recently I've been reading his blog and I have started thinking him as a very happy and positive person though all the hard times he's been through. When you're reading his blog, you can't help laughing :D

But the main reason I chose Yoshiki is the fact he has written most of the songs.

"Guess what..... I just ate one of the best ICE CREAMS I've ever had, and it's low carb..... I don't think life is that bad..... "

"But the funny part was….. The trailer for my dressing room and the place where we shot the photos were pretty far apart.

So I had to walk back and forth, on a pretty busy street, in downtown L.A.

With scars, and clothes with a lot of blood….. People were freaking out…... and in the evening there was a car accident in between those 2 locations….. then I walked in with my body covered in blood….. police officers were staring at me….. and …................. well, I just smiled!!"

Those are parts from Yoshiki's myspace... And they make me always smile :)

Albums/Singles / Re: X's worst song

ehm I like all song but I think I kill you and stab me in the back are the ones I like less

Stab me in the back rocks your ass out! :D (just joking)

For me the worst songs are this songs:

- Easy flight rambling.
The song is boring, there is not point in it, and it's so lame! A massive lack of "I WANNA SPIT ON YOUR FACE!"

- Phantom of guilt.
I can't remember anything else of that songs if not included the fact I don't never listen to it because it's so boring. : D

- XClamation, White Poem I, Love Replica, Wriggle, Dear loser, Give me the pleasure,
I just don't get them. Really.

- Alive.
An song which makes me feel like it never ends. It's like... torture to me. : D I really hate that song.

And I'll risk being the weirdo here by saying that at first I hated Trance X... but it has in fact GROWN ON ME! DDD: There's a few songs on there I actually like! *runs and hides*

I'll have to agree with you, though I haven't listened much Trance X, but since Kurenai remix was as my ringing tone, I kinda fell in love with it. XD And I've been wondering if I should make a koreography

But I'm surprised why Stab me in the back was mentioned here so often : D It's one of my favourite songs. I knew before I opened this thread that here will be mentions of Desperate angel, though it's for me a great song, I like verses especially o/
