Yoshiki / Re: YOSHIKI Life of a japanese Rockstar - Trailer
« on: November 14, 2019, 02:47:49 PM »
I hope we will be pleasantly surprised with this, hopefully it uncovers more than we actually know. I wish Toshi would make a documentary, actually i wish all of them would. they all seemed to have lead interesting lives.

I totally have to agree. Since I read Toshis book and cried a lot while reading it, I'm definitely more interested in a movie about Heath, Pata and Taiji. But that doesn't mean I'm not interested in a movie about Toshi  8)
btw. I still have to watch the latest Hide doc.  :)

there is a hide doc? i know there are a few, but all in japanese. i would be very interested in a doc about heath and pata, they are the mysterious ones.

Like i said in the chat , i've been an X fan going on 3 years (? i think) and they announced the album when I wasn't even a teenager yet and now i got bills of my own. ITS ABOUT DAMN TIME. I can only imagine how OG fans feel.

but the yeeeet was a big mood

Yeah saw that on Yoshi's Insta. Probably another Classical world tour announcement or if we are lucky enough it's probably about the album. Idk why but album release vibes are strong in this one lol

As far as disbanding is concerned, it's a big nope. But I doubt if they will last another 10 years

I was thinking the same thing but if it was about the album wouldn't be posted on the X band socials? I have no idea but if it isn't about an album and is another classical tour announcement im gonna pull my hair out lol

Yoshiki / Announcement?
« on: July 31, 2019, 04:04:31 AM »
It's been a while since anyone has posted, but im curious.

is this just an announcement about an announcement or does anyone know anything? Other fan pages are saying something about the album but also about how X might have disbanded again because toshi and yoshiki weren't in contact?

But it says it's a serious announcement so i wonder if something is wrong?

What do you guys think?

(not sure if anyone else can see the image but i just attached the one that was posted on social media. it wont show up for me on here when i use the code tho?)

im currently reading  helter skelter by Vincent Bugliosi, Curt Gentry. It goes into detailed about the manson family if anyone is into murder/gore like me

i've been needing some recs because all i really have read is teen fiction and anna karenina once, but that chapters were too short and it was kinda boring

ohhh im gonna listen to these when i get home! but we should probably rotate every 6 months because that album is gonna be the death of us lmao

Regarding that trailer: I think that some scenes were meant for a music video.
some scenes were even for Yoshiki overdramatic

I was gonna say because some of that looked overly done

quote von Kederiku

tl;dr there will be a new movie (We Are Y? ^^)

Quote
@everyone Here is my feedback from the yoshiki event
Sorry it's a bit long and certainly badly written (and I don't even speak of my english trollshiki )

9h30 the day begins for the signing session lottery (scans the entrance ticket, win or not),  I scan my ticket, I lose.

/!\ Method to cheat /!\   Ask their tickets to other visitors and retry, after 3 hours, queue 6 times  and around twenty tickets scanned I win.

Signing Session (15h15 – 16h15)
15h25/30 yoshiki is late as usual, his cameraman's team arrives, one of them come to ask me if I accept an interview, fail he must change the sd card, Yoshiki arrives, like he is late on the timing, convention staff say he will only sign the poster (poster of  We Are X French theatre release). My turn he signs the poster, raises his head, sees the vinyl that I hold in the hand (Vanishing Vision Pictured) and say something like:
- Oh yes, I can sign it, no worries.
He takes my vinyl, sign it, raises his head, sees an album cover (a girl who had no ticket for the signing session had given me to try to have it signed) that I held under the vinyl and still had in the hand and say something like:
- Oh that too, yes I can sign it, no worries

So at the end I went from just a signature on a poster to three signatures

Showcase (17h – 18h)
It started with a video of at least 5 minutes or even more, on Yoshiki and himself. Then he went on stage, he presented his first song, composed for the film Saint Seiya.

- Heroes

Then he began to present the second song, composed for attack on titan, and wanted to know how is this called in French, he didn't hear very well so he came down stage to ask someone directly from the public. Then he wandered in the public asking if we were okay and if we were happy to be here, he played with drumsticks that a spectator had, he asked if we knew X Japan, if we had them already seen in live. Then he went back on stage and returned to attack on titan, he wanted to know why we like this series in Europe

- Red Swan

Then he talked about We Are X, how to open the doors from the past for the documentary, was difficult, but he wanted to go even further.  He started talking about a new project, someone from the audience shouting something, then he said like :
- yes the album, I'm working on it, don't worry I think about it
And returned to his project, he showed us a teaser of a new documentary We Are Y (people have dreamed, he did it XD). All his world trip since a few weeks everything is filmed and will be part of it. The song used for the teaser is Red Rhapsody, he explained that he didn't really know what to do with this song, he did not want to release it because the subject isn't happy. This is the first time he's played it completely.

- Red Rhapsody

And to finish it dedicate the last song, to his father, hide and taiji

- Endless Rain

When the audience left, cameraman team came to see some of us to give an interview, apparently we should have met Yoshiki directly, the guy on the sd card came back too. But as they were late the convention staff fired them from the room and we were never interviewed second fail

there is a twitter video of the new teaser.

what do you think? pls discuss :)

I love yoshiki... a lot and people know this but what the f*ck was that?

I am itching to hear this album and I don't think he should've said anything about it in the first place because when you keep pushing something back people will get upset with broken promises.  Maybe he is scared it won't be received well maybe there is something we don't know about that keeping it from getting released? but it's been over 10 years now. There will be people that love it or hate it so if that's his reason he needs to not think about that. Like I said though, we don't know, but a lot of people are disappointed, rightfully so.

Bringing this alive because I've been wondering the same thing as Axl I am also wondering where teemah is. Also, I agree somewhat with the OG poster, but I also wonder... what label is X signed to? Is there a possibility of a label holding them back? A either wa, this post brought back memories of my first post on here and everyone fought... over Yoshiki. He seems to be the main cause of arguments on here lol

oh shit.

Wanna tell us a bit more about the backstory?

sorry for the novel but there is no way to make this story short at all .

I bought a used mac off of someone for college and to run music programs and my uncle told me it didn't have enough memory or enough space in the hard drive to run them. So he fixed up his old one for me and I sold mine. The guy gave me fake money and i didn't realize it was fake until after i used it because i didn't see it had chinese print on the back. SO i had to return my items. I got mad at the guy and started messaging him and he was playing dumb say thats the money he was given because he sold his iPhone earlier that day. He told me to give him an hour and thought it was stupid i was going to the police. He didn't believe me. Then he sent an article saying that if he didn't use the fake money with criminal intent, then its not a crime and said "technically i didn't steal it".  and that if i wanted it i needed to go 3 hours away to where he was to get it.

then later that day i found out he was using a fake name and sent his real on to the police. I literally started begging him to give me the computer back and told him to bring it or i was pressing charges or to send the money through pay pal. his two responses for those questions were "who said i had PayPal?" and "I don't have the gas money to drive all that way."

We also found out he was in a city located an hour away from us so it doesn't make sense why he came to a small city to buy a 300 dollar used computer when he was supposedly 3 hours away in the capital city of our state.

then i got the call for the prelim hearing, and i went and missed class. Walked through the hallways, even saw him, but went to sit in the waiting area of the prosecution office to avoid him. like I was told to do, and the person there texted who ever was in charge of the case that i was there. well an hour goes by, she goes and checks and tells me all the cases are done and everyone went home. Then i called the lady who got ahold of me and i was raging and she told me i was incorrect and that didn't happen and i tried calling the lawyer in charge of the case but she hasn't gotten ahold of me. they don't care about their victims

he plead not guilty as far as i know and it might go to trial somewhere 30 minute away

it's a hot mess, nb... took my a couple hours to write this reply because of my computer issues lol

so im dealing with his case that includes counterfeit money after selling my mac and the guy got cocky and thought if he said he didn't mean it he wasn't gonna get caught. i had to go today and sit in the prosecutors office to wait for the case and to avoid contact with him and after an hour(AND ME MISSING CLASS) someone went to check for me and they said the case was over and everyone left. Like there is no justice for victims like this man. I'm upset bc my teacher got pissed at me and he put me through a lot of crap over this.

brb gonna go listen to Ja, Zoo and just cry :'( :'( :'( :'(

I just want to throw my 2 cents in this case. I don't wish to offend anyone but I am sorry if I did.

Yoshiki is 54, I think he has enough maturity to select his own friends and people he wishes to dine with. Although I think posting the pic on insta was just bad timing.

this!

It doesn't matter if he is a supporter of the communist party. I'm a supporter of a democratic system but we start wars and kill ppl for no reason. for example the USA are currently kill ppl with drones from Germany (Ramstein) in many countrys (more infos).

So do we have to hate Yoshiki for going out with an (american) democratic?

Let the dude have dinner with anyone who's befriended with him...

no one is hating yoshiki, just saying its bad timing...

but yeah, read up on china and their system because it does kind of matter, especially to people in HK. it's kind of sensitive and everyone knows yoshiki didn't mean nothing by it. a lot of people had said that. He should've just been more careful because HK fans wouldn't have been very pleased by it.

all governments start wars but when it comes to democratic and communist there is a hugggeee different in personal morals.

Yeah but Jackie Chan is not a politician, he’s just an actor, it’s not like he said something about the protests “now”. They were not even in Hong Kong.
Honestly, the kind of hatred I have seen is way too much, like Jackie Chan is Hitler or something like that, they’re even attacking other fans that say “wow cool photo” or “I love Jackie Chan’s movies!”
Yoshiki has pretty much stayed away from making any political statements, he’s also allowed to have dinner with whoever he wants and shouldn’t apologize for this. They were also DEMANDING he had dinner with Taiwan’s President instead, funny because Taiwan’s goverment has been very bad too.

There’re many things you could criticize Yoshiki about but this is not it.

...but Jackie chan is involved with politics in china.

honestly when it comes to politics over there, I support Taiwans independence. all governments are pieces of shit though so there isn't much winning with that. They may not have been in HK but posting that photo was bad timing for HK fans, especially with whats going on right now. Its kind of shocking with everything that Jackie chan has done im surprised cancel culture hasn't gotten ahold fo him.

I am kind of upset just because Yoshiki having dinner with Jackie Chan.  >:(
As a HongKonger myself, I can say most of us don't like Jackie Chan at all.
We've heard so many stories and rumours of Jackie Chan that I/We  decided he is not a good person.

I'm sorry with everything that is going on in HK right now.

Yoshiki / Re: Yoshiki apologized for having dinner with Jackie Chan?
« on: June 15, 2019, 10:05:12 PM »
Jackie Chan not only support the chinese communist party, but is also quite harsh on HK people. He already said more than once that the government should control everyone even more so they won't become "a huge mess like Hong Kong people".

So I understand HK people being angry when they see an idol with a person who is often on media talking shit about their country. Even more when he posts the picture the same day people are protesting against a law to allow HK people to be deported to Mainland China.

Thank you!!! no one is hating yoshiki, but Jackie chan is involved with some politics in china, no one is saying yoshiki supports those same views but posting a picture with him would be bad timing especially for Hong Kong fans.

Yoshiki / Re: Yoshiki apologized for having dinner with Jackie Chan?
« on: June 15, 2019, 07:34:46 AM »
I do not even think it was bad timing. I do not understand how people get upset if someone goes out for dinner with anyone. And what do people actually have against Jackie Chan?

its because of the the things going on in Hong Kong right now and Jackie chan being a supporter of the communist party and there being protests about the extradition proposal. Jackie chan also kinda sucks as a person but thats a personal thing but many people took it as a political statement. that's why I said it was bad timing because of the politics and Jackie chan isn't exactly well liked in Hong Kong as well as Taiwan.
